INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Philadelphia 76ers hope to take another step tonight toward clinching the top spot in the Eastern Conference and security home court in the East playoffs. The Sixers, who’ve won eight straight, are in Indiana to play the Pacers.

— The Brooklyn Nets, a game up on Milwaukee for the East’s second seed, play the Bulls in Chicago.
— The Bucks, who saw a five-game winning streak snapped last night against the Spurs, host Orlando.
— The Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics meet for the second time in three days, as they fight for position in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Miami leads Boston by two games for sixth place.
— The New York Knicks, who are close to clinching a playoff berth after seven seasons of at least 45 losses, visit the Los Angeles Lakers, who are hoping to avoid having to play-in to the playoffs.
— The Phoenix Suns, who’ve lost two of three after a five-game winning streak, play at Golden State. The Suns sit one and a-half games behind Utah atop the Western Conference.
— The playoff-bound Los Angeles Clippers face Toronto in Tampa, Florida, in the opener of a four-game trip to close the regular season.
— The Nuggets are at Charlotte as Denver concludes the regular season with four straight road games.
— The Memphis Grizzlies, who’ve secured a spot in the post-season play-in tournament, host the playoff-bound Dallas Mavericks.
—The Minnesota Timberwolves play the Pistons in Detroit. And the Sacramento Kings host Oklahoma City.
