Lawsuits brought in Oil Lift Boat that capsized

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Two $25 million lawsuits blame an energy corporation and the work boat company it hired for an offshore Gulf of Mexico disaster that killed 13 people. The lawsuits have been filed by the wife of one missing crewman and the fiancé of another as they sue an energy company as well Seacor Marine, the company that operated the oil lift boat that capsized and sank in the Gulf of Mexico during stormy weather earlier this month. Nineteen people were on the boat. Six survived, six bodies have been recovered and seven are missing and presumed dead.
