Sadly, we are reporting a 25th Wasco County resident has died of COVID-19. The person tested positive on Jan. 30 and died at a Bend hospital on Feb. 1.
We extend our deepest sympathies to their family and all who have lost loved ones to this pandemic. We are grateful a vaccine is now available to combat COVID but it will take time to vaccinate everyone who wants one. We appreciate your patience. In the meantime, we must continue to wear a mask, maintain distance, wash hands, stay home when sick and avoid large gatherings.
