Mosbrucker appointed to continue serving in House Republican Caucus leadership role

Rep. Gina Mosbrucker, R-Goldendale, has been selected as deputy-chair of the Washington State House Republican Caucus, a position she has served for the past two years.

As deputy-chair, Mosbrucker assists Caucus Chair Rep. Paul Harris, R-Vancouver, in presiding over daily caucus meetings when bills, amendments and voting are discussed.

“I am honored to once again be serving in this role for the House Republicans. We have many issues to address in this pandemic era, including getting our economy back on track and getting people safely back to work again. This position keeps me at the leadership table and allows me a stronger voice on the issues people care about in the 14th District,” said Mosbrucker.

The 14th District lawmaker was also recently chosen to serve as ranking Republican on the House Public Safety Committee. In addition, she will serve as assistant ranking Republican on the House Labor and Workplace Standards Committee, and as a member of the House Capital Budget Committee

The legislative session begins Jan. 11 and will be conducted remotely due to COVID-19.
