NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Author Tracey Davis, who chronicled her life as the daughter of Rat Pack entertainer Sammy Davis Jr. and actress May Britt, has died. She was 59. Her ex-husband said Davis died on Nov. 2. She wrote about her journey to reconnect with her father in a 1996 book called “Sammy Davis Jr.: My Father.” MGM announced plans last month to develop a biopic based on Davis’ first book.
