Goldendale Art Festival

The Greater Goldendale Area Chamber of Commerce, invites you to celebrate the completion of the Art at the Heart of Goldendale public art installations on Main Street on September 23, 2023 in downtown Goldendale.

This special event will be a Celebration of the arts—the expression of human creativity, skill, and imagination, such as painting, music, literature, and dance or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional impact.

The revitalization project at the four corners of downtown Goldendale, titled Art at the Heart of Goldendale, was set as a primary mission of the Goldendale Chamber in 2021. Phase I of the project was accomplished through the work of Chamber staff & directors in collaboration with local artists and art enthusiasts, with seed funding from the City of Goldendale and Klickitat County Economic Development Department.

The completion of Phases II – IV of the project this summer was made possible through the generous donations and support from community members, local foundations, businesses, and Major funding from the Washington State Legislature with the support of Senator Curtis King. Project administration and guidance was provided by Washington State Arts Commission and the Greater Goldendale Area Chamber.

We’d also like to thank Round 2, Goldendale Pharmacy, Windermere, and Dr Ogden. Each of these businesses contributed to the project by preparing their buildings for the art installations
