Helping Hands

It’s week 4 of Helping Hands.  Gorge Country Media has teamed up with local businesses to bring in gently used coats, hats, blankets, gloves, new toys, and non-perishable food items to be distributed by the Salvation Army and the St. Vincent DePaul.

We hope you can join us Wednesday, November 22nd, in front of Old Salvation Army Building in The Dalles from 7 to 9 am, as Les Schwab Tire helps us collect your donations.

Helping Hands is sponsored by Umpqua Bank, Coastal Farm & Ranch, Northwest Natural, Grocery Outlet, C. H. Urness Motors & Les Schwab Tire in Hood River and The Dalles.

You can also drop off items in the barrels at both Umpqua Bank locations in The Dalles, Les Schwab Tire in Hood River and The Dalles, Coastal Farm & Ranch, C. H. Urness Motors, & Grocery Outlet.  All donations stay here in the Mid-Columbia to benefit the St. Vincent DePaul and Salvation Army as they help families this holiday season.

If you would rather make a cash donation, remember 100% of the money will be used locally to help our Mid-Columbia families.
