Hood River Police DUII stop leads to a bigger arrest

On November 12, 2023 an Officer with the Hood River City Police Dept. stopped a vehicle driven by a local resident who our Officer knew had suspended driving privileges. After contacting the driver, our Officer noticed numerous signs of impairment.

The driver consented to field sobriety tests and after the administration of the field sobriety tests, the driver was taken into custody for DUII/Controlled Substance.

During the search incident to arrest, the driver was found to be in possession of an array for illegal narcotics, burglar tools, packaging material, scale and a concealed firearm.

The driver was transported to NORCOR where he was booked and lodged.

We will continue to be proactive in this line of work. Our community does not need this poison. We thank you for the continued support.
