2 students hurt in shooting near Portland high school

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Officials say two students were injured in a shooting near a high school in Portland, Oregon. The Oregonian/OregonLive reports Portland Public Schools officials said shots were fired near Jefferson High School Tuesday afternoon in north Portland after school was dismissed. District spokeswoman Marifer Sager says the students are expected to survive. The Portland Police Bureau says one person was shot in the leg and that police were trying to locate another student who suffered a graze wound. Police say people reported that two teens wearing face masks fled in a car that crashed nearby. Police say the teens then ran away. Police haven’t said if anyone was arrested.
