A mysterious smell is currently plaguing the city of Glenpool, Oklahoma, and surprisingly, its not coming from the dump.
“The City is aware of a sewer-like smell in some parts of Glenpool,” the city wrote in a Facebook post. “The sewer treatment plant was recently inspected by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) to make sure our wastewater operation was functioning as designed. ODEQ indicated our plant is not the issue.”
“We’re actively investigating the issue to determine what IS causing the smell,” the added, urging residents to contact them if they witness anything that could be a “contributing fact.”
