There’s a new Dobby in town and it lives in a British zoo

Many people know Dobby as the elf from Harry Potter.  Well, now there’s a new Dobby in tow,n and it lives in a British zoo.

The Chester Zoo in England recently welcomed their first baby aardvark in their 90-year history, and landed on the nickname Dobby because of its similar appearance to the Harry Potter character.

The calf was “born with large droopy ears, hairless wrinkled skin and giant claws,” according to the zoo, similar to the hairless, long-nosed fictional character.

The zoo adds that it will be a few more weeks before they find out if the calf is male or female but for now, the nickname stays.
