Woman cuts up 32 wedding dresses after store refuses to refund deposit

A woman went on a rampage at a bridal salon and cut up over 30 dresses after being denied her a refund.

The incident reportedly went down in early January at a bridal salon in China, and footage captured shows the customer making her way through the racks of dresses and cutting holes in each one she passes with a pair of scissors. The dresses were reportedly worth a total of $11,000, Newsweek reports.

As for what caused the outburst, the customer was reportedly angered by the fact that the store wouldn’t return a $550 deposit after she abruptly cancelled the wedding package she bought in April 2021 for her October wedding. The package was worth $1,260 in total.

Following the outburst, the woman apologized and, according to reports, is in negotiations with the bridal salon to pay for the damages.
