Shooting in North Seattle leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle police say a shooting in North Seattle left a 47-year-old man dead and another hospitalized. Police said they responded to a shooting on Aurora Avenue North at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday. They found two people with gunshot wounds. The 47-year-old man died at the scene. Medics took another man, who was 22 years old, to Harborview Medical Center. Hospital spokesperson Susan Gregg says he was in satisfactory condition Sunday morning. Police say homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
