Man arrested after shooting car thief

SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle Police say two people were arrested after a man shot another man suspected of driving his brother’s stolen car. Police say one man followed his brother’s stolen vehicle through a South Park neighborhood. He fired his handgun at the vehicle but hit his own car’s side mirror. The driver lost control and hit a truck. The stolen vehicle rolled and landed on its roof. The driver ran and the other man shot the driver in the leg. He was hospitalized and will be booked into King County Jail. The 61-year-old man was arrested for investigation of assault.
