The Dalles City Council met for three hours last night in a special session to hear an appeal from neighbors opposed to a proposed new subdivision on the east side of The Dalles. The case is long and complicated, and when councilors weren’t able to get through all the testimony, they decided to continue the hearing next Monday night, August 31st at 5:30 p.m.
The Dalles City Council, which normally takes the month of August off, meets tonight in a special session to hear an appeal from local citizens who oppose a propose subdivision planned for the east side of town. The subdivision would divide a 6.92 acre parcel into 72 lots of varying sizes with a proposed community park. The Zoom meeting starts at 5:30, and the link to join online is at the top of the agenda posted at the city’s website.
