On August 13, Gov. Brown and the Oregon Health Authority revised the statewide guidance regarding face coverings to also include indoor office spaces. While employees do not need to wear masks when sitting at their individual work station, provided it is more than six feet from the next work station, they must be worn in hallways, bathrooms, elevators, lobbies, break rooms, and other common spaces.
Businesses are required to provide face coverings to employees and post signs around their property that masks are required for all who enter. They are encouraged, but not required, to make face coverings available to the public at no cost. Read the full statewide guidance on OBI’s website.
