Southwest Washington Small Businesses, Jobs Preserved

A recent report by the U.S. Small Business Administration detailed that in Southwest Washington alone, the Paycheck Protection Program has helped retain more than 90,000 jobs. Also, more than 9,000 businesses secured these critical, forgivable loans.

I worked with many of our local employers to help create this program, and I’ll keep fighting for our small businesses and their hard-working employees in Southwest Washington as we continue to weather this crisis.

Paycheck Protection Program is Helping Southwest Washington Businesses

Neptune Theatre, located in Long Beach, successfully applied for and secured a Paycheck Protection Program loan. Because they were able to secure this critical, forgivable, federal loan, and take advantage of the PPP Flexibility bill that was passed through Congress and signed into law, they have been able to pay their employees and keep their business going.

JamesCo Pro Inc., located in Randle, successfully applied for and secured a Paycheck Protection Program loan. Because they were able to secure this forgivable, federal loan, they have been able to keep their business afloat during this crisis.
