COVID-19 is growing in Spokane, and Inslee says wear masks

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — The rate of people being hospitalized for COVID-19 in Spokane has doubled in the past week, and the state’s second-largest city is “”on the edge of a cliff.″ That’s according to Washington Gov. Jay Inslee on Thursday. Inslee met with civic leaders on the Spokane campus of Washington State University. His visit drew a small crowd of protesters against his administration’s proclamation earlier this week requiring people to wear masks when in public. Inslee, who wore a mask during his press conference, said the way to battle the spread of the coronavirus is simple.“”You’ve just got to wear a little cloth on your face,″ Inslee said.

  1. Inslee lives in an information black hole.

Four scientists authored new meta-analysis of 21 studies claiming masks are effective found a “high risk of confounding and reporting bias” which led the authors to conclude that there is NO evidence unequivocally proving masks work and that at best they are only minimally effective at preventing virus transmission.

There are, however, dozens of published papers, peer-reviewed, that show masks are not effective at preventing virus transmission. Some are even bizarrely used by the CDC and WHO to justify their mask orders– which indicates deep dysfunction in those organizations.

I only wish the news media, including this site, had the courage to actually report on these things. When 21 studies trying to prove masks work don’t stand up to a peer review, like the one just released, then they are not valid science.

Show us the science!!! Otherwise it’s just propaganda: lies meant to control, not help us be healthy.
