City of Goldendale Firework Laws

Goldendale, Washington June 23, 2020 –The Goldendale Police Department wants to remind all the citizens of the City of Goldendale laws pertaining to the use of fireworks during the 4th of July holiday.

Chief Bartkowski states “Fireworks can only be used or discharged on July 4th from 6pm to midnight.” The police department will have extra patrols on during the 4th of July to enforce the firework laws.

Bartkowski also stated that illegal fireworks are; firecrackers, sky rockets and missiles, bottle rockets, M-80’s or M-100’s, any improvised explosive device, and any firework that is altered.

Legal fireworks are defined as small firework device designed to produce visible effects by combustion. The following is a list of legal fireworks:  sparkler, cylindrical fountain, cone fountain, illumination torch, wheel, ground spinners, flitter sparkler, mine/shell, combination items, smoke device, helicopter/aerial spinner, and roman candle.

  1. And the next step is to ban them completely and abolish Independence Day calibrations. What is this country coming to. Vancouver, wa took these same steps, they are illegal within city limits now
