BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — New details have been made public in an investigation about the death of a Kitsap County Jail inmate charged with first-degree murder after six corrections officers were involved in restraining him before his death. The Kitsap Sun reported that 28-year-old Sean Michael Howell was booked into the jail on May 8. Court documents say corrections officers were called to the crisis cell where Howell was being kept the morning after he was booked. The Washington State Patrol says six officers removed Howell from a cell and attempted to restrain him before he appeared to go into medical crisis. He was then taken to the hospital where he died.
