NEW YORK (AP) — Tarhia Morton and her family had big plans before the coronavirus changed hers and so many other lives in Co-op City in the Bronx. That’s the largest single residential development in the U.S. and it was an easy target for the virus. It houses one of the largest elderly communities in the nation and has a population that is more than 92% nonwhite. The virus has killed at least 155 people living in the zip code that covers the complex. Morton knows at least six people in her church who died and her mother was infected by the disease.
