SWEET HOME, Ore. (AP) — Authorities say four people found dead Tuesday in a Sweet Home residence destroyed by fire were either shot or stabbed before it was intentionally set ablaze. KEZI-TV reports that Sweet Home police found a gun, a sharp, blunt force instrument and a torch lighter near the bodies. After the fire was put out, rescue personnel found the bodies of 63-year-old John Shobert, 41-year-old Tiffany Shobert, 15-year-old Johnathon Shobert, and 2-year-old Charlotte Shobert. All lived at the home in Linn County south of Portland. Police say there’s no indication the public is in danger and that no one is being sought in the case.
