Klickitat Valley Health Mentioned in LA Times Story

As if there weren’t enough things to worry about during these troubled times, now there are financial problems for rural hospitals. A story in the Los Angeles Times cites how the banning of elective surgeries by the governors of Oregon and Washington has cost them much of their revenue. One of the five Northwest hospitals profiled in the story is KVH in Goldendale. As the story points out, “The non-urgent procedures that the governors cancelled pay the bills for many facilities, which often have fewer than two dozen beds.”
