Close to 90 people attended a Wednesday night meeting of Wasco County Commissioners to hear from the public on a proposed resolution stating the county’s support for the 2nd Amendment. About a third of them testified, divided roughly evenly between those supporting and opposing the resolution.
The resolution itself didn’t go far enough for some supporters and went too far for detractors. Ultimately, commissioner had a consensus that they needed to digest all the testimony heard Wednesday night and said they needed more time to consider the ramifications before any vote.
