Woman accused of raping child on team coached by her husband

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A Puyallup woman is accused of raping an 11-year-old boy who was on her husband’s lacrosse team.

News outlets report 44-year-old Su Hyon Dillon pleaded not guilty to four counts of first-degree child rape Wednesday in Pierce County Superior Court.

Charging documents say the victim’s mother called police in April saying her son told a counselor he had sex several times with Dillon. Documents say she was known as the “team mom” of his lacrosse team in 2014 and 2015.

Documents say the victim told the counselor after he went to live with his dad out of state because he had been missing school and having other problems.

Documents say Dillon told investigators she had sex with the boy and that she should have known better.

She was released on her own recognizance and ordered not to have contact with any children.
