Carrie Miller – National Geographic Presents 100 Dives of a Lifetime

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get paid for what you enjoy to do most? . Carrie Miller has been living that dream, covering travel for National Geographic since 1998. A two-time Lowell Thomas Award winner and contributing editor at National Geographic Traveler magazine, she put everything in storage in 2018 to embark on a year long assignment exploring the world’s best dive travel locations with her husband, dive master Chris Taylor.

The result is a new an gorgeous book 100 Dives of a Lifetime: The World’s Ultimate Underwater Destinations. This is an absolute gem as only National Geographic can do, featuring more than 350 color photos, revealing 100 breathtaking dive sites across 60 countries and six continents, providing the ultimate bucket list for explorers, adventurers and scuba divers of all skill levels. Whether your idea of exploring is from an armchair or with scuba gear in tow, you will be amazed by this book. Though she and her husband live in New Zealand we caught up with her at a hotel room in Boston.
