TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A woman was shot and killed in Tacoma and authorities later apprehended her boyfriend, who they say had fled to Canada.

He was later arrested by RCMP in Canada after illegally crossing the border. The Sheriff’s Office said he was located at a hospital in Surrey, British Columbia ran from officers and was then arrested after a short pursuit.
