Christmas in the Gorge 10 am to 3 pm at the  Skamania County Fairgrounds, 650 Rock Creek Road
Stevenson, Washington. Handcrafted items only. FREE public admission.

The annual Starlight Parade travels through downtown Stevenson on Highway 14 Friday. Caroling begins at 6:30 pm in the Courthouse Plaza, the Courthouse Tree will be lit at 6:55 pm and the parade starts at 7 pm. Enjoy free cookies and cider, then join Santa at Main Street Convenience store following the parade for cookies and cocoa.

Sherman County Preschool is pleased to announce the Gala of Trees fundraiser is up and running again this year. Trees & wreaths will be on display at Mid-Columbia Producers  Farm Store in Wasco from November 26 to the time of the drawing on December 8th at noon (you don’t have to be present to win, winners will be called immediately). Tickets may be purchased from any Sherman County Preschool family or at MCP Farm Store.

The Dalles Worship Choir – Christmas concert series: The Dalles Worship Choir, consisting of approximately 45 members from nine different churches, will present its 15th annual Christmas Concert Series under the direction of Shawn Lutz, at four churches in The Dalles. This year’s concert, “Wonderful Love,” is a compilation of various gospel songs put together with narration, scripture, and testimony.. The concerts, all in The Dalles, are:
· Friday, November 30 at Calvary Baptist Church, 7:00 PM;
· Sunday, December 2 at First Christian Church, 5:30 PM;
· Friday, December 7 at Gateway Presbyterian Church, 7:00 PM;
· Sunday, December 9 at Covenant Christian Church, 5:30 PM.
Concerts are free to the public with an offering taken during the concert to further the ministry of this group.


Lyle Lyons Pancake Breakfast 7 to 10 am at the Lyle Lions Community Center, corner of Highway 14 and Fifth Street. All are welcome. Monetary donations, canned food and nonperishable food items will be accepted for the Christmas Food Project.

Breakfast with Santa 8 to 1 am at the West Side Fire District’s Rockford Fire Station, 4250 Belmont Drive in Hood River.

Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum annual Open House, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission all day long to thank our wonderful community & all who support us all year long. The Center invites people to share what you can to help those who are less fortunate during the holidays by bringing a non-perishable food item for the local food bank, or a clean blanket, or winter coat to donate to local families in need via the Good Will. Enjoy complimentary cookies, hot cider, and cocoa. A limited, special menu of yummy foods will be available for purchase from the Basalt Rock Café from 11 to 3 p.m.

Country Christmas Bazaar  9:30 am to 4 pm Saturday at the Grass Valley Pavilion, Highway 97 at the Grass Valley Park. Many vendors. Shop from a large selection of handcrafted items. Visit with neighbors and friends. Relax and enjoy pastries, coffee, cocoa, and a soup and bread lunch. Pictures with Santa 12 to 4.

38th Annual Mosier Country Christmas Fair 10 am to 4 pm both Saturday and Sunday at Mosier Community School, 1204 1st Ave in Mosier.  This is an annual benefit for the Mosier School, with more than 65 vendor booths featuring artisans, crafts, food, and more! Pictures with Santa(both days) from 11 am to 3 pm. Admission is $2.00 plus a can of food (people or animal)

Opportunity Connections Christmas Bazaar 10 am to 4 pm Saturday at 506 East Second Street The Dalles

Sherman County Holiday Bazaar 10 am to 3:30 pm at  Sherman County School in Moro, hosted by the Sherman County Fair Board.

Fur Ball – benefiting Home at Last Animal Shelter Saturday at The Dalles Country Club. Cocktails at 6, dinner at 7  plus silent auction and paddle raise auction. Holiday attire. Tickets $50 each or $400 for a table of eight. (Table includes Oregon bottle of wine) Tickets are available at Klindt’s Book Store or The Dalles Country Club

Live Sessions, a fundraising concert for The Dalles High School Band at The Riv Cafe, 401 E. 10th Street in The Dalles.The concert is part of the Live Sessions community music series showcasing local musicians and benefiting non-profit organizations. The concert will feature performances by the TDHS Jazz Band, the Ananas and the Papas, and Mark Reynolds. Admission $5 Adult $2 Youth 17 & under — or bring a plate of tasty treats and get in free

SUNDAY, Dec. 2

Goldendale Christmas Bazaar, 9 am to 3 pm Sundat at  318 W Brooks Street (across from Rural #7 Fire Hall) in Goldendale. Lots of great gifts for the holidays, including homemade craft items, food items and other unique gifts.

Holiday Auction For the New Seventh-Day Adventist Church in The Dalles Sunday 2 to 4 pm at 3339 E 13th Street in The Dalles.  Baked Goods, Holiday Items, Toys, Household Items, Crafts – (new and gently used.) After the Auction, a Haystack and Smoothie Supper will be served for $5.00 per person.
