GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) — Authorities say a man claiming self-defense fatally shot another man near Grants Pass.
Oregon State Police say officers responding to a report of a shooting Wednesday evening found a man dead on the deck of the home.
Police say an elderly man who lives at the home told investigators that he shot the man in self-dense.
Police say both the man and his wife are cooperating with the investigation.
