LET’S TALK”. The next topic in this eight-week series at the Mid-Columbia Senior Center is “The Parent Adult Child Relationship.” Come and share your ideas today at 11 am at the Mid-Columbia Senior Center, 1112 W. 9th St., The Dalles.

Celebrate Hood River’s harvest season at the 36th annual Hood River Valley Harvest Fest. This old-fashioned fall festival brings together more than 120 vendors offering local produce and food products, arts and crafts, wine, cider, and beer tastings. At the Port of Hood River Event Site Friday 1 to 6 pm, Saturday 10 am to 6 pm, Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. Admission $6 per day for adults $3 for seniors and active military on Friday, $5 Saturday and Sunday, children under 12 free.

Something very different at the Granada Theater tonight. Bands have been covering Beatles tunes for decades, but none like Sgt. Peppers Lonely Bluegrass Band. Imagine the music of the Fab Four shaken up with infusions of bluegrass and jazz and topped off with a classical twist. The result: a satisfying musical cocktail! Tickets $35


American Legion Post 116 Goldendale hosts a hunter’s breadfast 4 am to 6 am Saturday morning with Pancakes, Coffee and Just $5

Final Farmer’s Market at City Park, 5th and Union in The Dalles 9 am to 1 pm. Closing with harvest fest celebration including a Pie Contest with cash prizes for the winner, a dress your veggie contest with prizes and a guess the weight of a pumpkin event.

Harvest fest at Maryhill Winery Saturday and Sunday includes new wine releases, live music (1pm-5pm) and grape stomping.

Firefighters appreciation day 2 to 4 pm Saturday at the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center in Stevenson. Glenn Daman will be starting off the event at 2 p.m. in the Degroot Theatre, doing a presentation on the Eagle Creek Fire. Following the presentation, everyone is invited to gather outside to visit and thank all the Firefighters, EMTs, and emergency personnel that will be on site. There will be activities for the whole family. All net proceeds/donations will be donated to our local Firefighters association.

Free teen movie night at the Hood River Library Saturday 4 to 6:30 pm for showing of Avengers Infinity War

Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association presents an evening of jazz at Stave and Stone Winery 210 Oak Street in Hood River. Admission is free, donations gladly accepted
