Woman killed, two injured in boating accident

CAMAS, Wash. (AP) — A woman was killed and two others were injured after two boats collided in Camas, Washington.

KPTV-TV reports that just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday, the Camas-Washougal Fire Department received a report of a boat collision near the Camas Slough Bridge.

When crews arrived, they found two motorized boats that had collided beneath the bridge.

The fire department said a woman in her 20s died. A second person was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, and a third person sustained what are believed to be minor injuries.

No further information was released.
