SEATTLE (AP) — Authorities say two approximately 10-year-old children were badly injured in a pedestrian vehicle crash in south Seattle.
The Seattle Police Department says the collision happened Thursday at the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Henderson Street in the Dunlap neighborhood.
The Seattle Times reports that witnesses said the kids were crossing Rainier when they were struck by a southbound vehicle.
The Seattle Fire Department says the two girls were taken to a Seattle hospital. Fire officials say one was in critical condition and the other was in serious condition.
Seattle Police Sgt. Sean Whitcomb says the driver stopped and was talking to investigators.
