Interstate 90 reopened after fire

VANTAGE, Wash. (AP) — Interstate 90 is now open in both directions at the Vantage Bridge

The main east-west highway across the state had been closed all day Tuesday because of a wildfire near the tiny town of Vantage.

The state Department of Transportation says the highway reopened around noon.

The wildfire  burned about 1.5 square miles and one structure, and prompted the evacuation of Vantage. There is no containment.

No injuries have been reported.
