Kick-off yard sale is this afternoon from 4 to 7 PM with all items being sold on a donation basis. The Class of 2018 is having a HUGE senior yard sale at the Goldendale High School cafeteria Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm They are fundraising for their senior trip to Silverwood on June 1st. Wasco County Extension Service andWasco County Master Gardeners, together with NORCOR Juvenile Detention presents their annual plant fair Saturday 9 am to 2 pm at The Dalles city park. Large selection of flowers, vegetables and herbs for sale, along with food booths, crafters and artists and demonstrations. Free admission and proceeds go to providing community plant education.
Also at City Park in The Dalles from 10 am to 2 pm its the annual Childrens Fair. More than 30 booths and activities for children of all ages and it’s free.
The Next Door, Inc. plant sale from 9 am to 3 pm at 965 Tucker Road in Hood River. More than 20 varieties of organically grown herb, veggie, and flower starts available for just $3-5. Tomatoes, hot and sweet peppers, eggplant, basil, melons, squash, sunflowers, and much more. All proceeds benefit The Next Door’s Raices Cooperative Farm.

The Oregon Ballet Theater traveling company visits Columbia Arts Center at 215 Cascade Avenue in Hood River Saturday 6:30 to 8:30. The dancers will perform classical and contemporary choreography from the repertoire of Oregon Ballet Theatre.
