Wild Wild Country a six-episode Netflix Original documentary series that tells the story of the Rajneesh in Wasco County 1980-1985 launches Globally on Netflix today.

The Goldendale Swimming Pool opens for the 2018 season on Friday March 16th.
How long has it been since you’ve been to a sock hop? The Alliance Church in Hood River is holding a fundraiser from 6 to 9 tonight packed with great 1950s music from the band Sandpoint! Proceeds go to high school kids who are heading to the Dominican Republic in June! Nachos, pizza and root beer floats will be available for purchase, you’ll receive a free italian soda with your ticket, and you can bid on some great prizes at our silent auction! 50s attire encouraged and there will be a prize for best dressed! Tickets five dollars each, $15 for families.

The Columbia Gorge Sinfonietta will perform Beethoven’s 7th Symphony and Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite tonight at 7 pm and Sunday, at 2 PM at Wy’east Middle School Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15 for adults (18+), $10 students and children (10-17) and free for kids under 10.


Dallesport/Murdock Fire Department French Toast Feed March 17 from 7 to 10 am at the Dallesport Fire station. French Toast, endless coffee and juice $5 per person and all procedds go to the Dallesport Fire Department building fund.

Annual St Patricks say 3k, 5k, or 10k fun run/walk follows the Riverfront Trail in The Dalles starts at Lewis and Clark Festival Park starts 10 am Fee: $25 (Registration is free for all District 21 K-5 Elementary Students; shirts not included.)

Wind Challenge STEM Fair tomorrow 9 am to 5 pm at the Readiness Center at CGCC in The Dalles includes a fun and hands-on fair from 11 am to 3 p,m PM with interactive booths for kids of all ages. Booths include: Youth Robotics. Gorge MakerSpace, Cascade Mountain School, Google Cardboard and Bonneville Power Administration. Admission is free

The 21st annual St. Patrick’s Day concert at St. Peter’s Landmark at 7 pm Saturday. The Cascade Youth Choir and “Irish Tenors” will join Cascade Singers community choir, the ensemble, and “Almost-All-Irish-Almost-All Brass” Band for Irish art songs, Tin Pan Alley Irish tunes, traditional favorites and sing-alongs, and even a wee bit of contemporary Irish rock. Admission is a free-will offering to benefit St. Peter’s Landmark

Senior Citizen’s Prom : A night under the stars Saturday at the J Lynch Community Center in Klickitat with dinner from 5 to 6 pm and dancing 6 to 9 pm. Open to all seniors and those who would like to honor them. The event is free, sponsored by Sponsored by TADAA Teens against drugs and alchol of Klickitat School
