EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — A jury has found a western Oregon man guilty of stabbing to death his 19-year-old girlfriend in Eugene in 2016. The Register-Guard reports 24-year-old Erick Joaquin was convicted of murder Wednesday after the Lane County jury deliberated for about 30 minutes. Authorities say Joaquin caused massive wounds to Jessica Frank’s neck and stabbed her about two dozen times in November 2016.
