Klickitat PUD has issued the following press release:
There is a planned power outage that will impact electric service. The outage will take place on Saturday, March 10th, starting at 11:59PM and last until Sunday, March 11th, at 9:00AM.
This outage will be for Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and Klickitat PUD to perform critical substation and line maintenance and will affect all customers in the towns of Bingen, White Salmon, Trout Lake, Glenwood, BZ, Husum, the Gilmer Valley, Northwestern Lake, Spring Creek, Oakridge Rd, and Rattlesnake Rd.
The times stated for this planned outage are based on the best information we have available ahead of time, so please be aware that the power could come back on at any time without prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you in advance for your cooperation. We understand there is never a perfect time for the power to be out, but by performing these routine outages with some advance planning, our system can be better prepared to handle weather extremes and other variables at times when you count on electricity most.
