Female teen shot in Portland; no suspects

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland police are investigating a shooting that left a female teen injured.

Central Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 2 a.m. Sunday near Southeast 36th Avenue.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and found a 16-year-old female victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

She was taken to a Portland hospital and was expected to survive.

Officers identified a crime scene and collected evidence but don’t have any suspect information. They’re seeking the public’s help.
