BEND, Ore. (AP) — The clinical director for the Oregon Department of Corrections is facing charges of driving under the influence.
The Bend Bulletin reports Christopher Peter DiGiulio was arrested last month and arraigned Tuesday for investigation of driving under the influence of intoxicants and for refusing to take a breath test for alcohol.
Both charges are misdemeanors.
A related search warrant affidavit says DiGiulio admitted to the arresting officer that he smoked marijuana earlier in the day.
DiGiulio’s attorney, Bryan M. Donahue, says a decision on opting for alcohol diversion treatment remains open.
His next court date is scheduled for Feb. 16.
