Peter Ash returns for the third book in the series. It is among the best of the best. There is a 14-page chase scene in which Peter and his friend are careening down a steep, snow-covered mountain road in a most unlikely and untrustworthy conveyance, while being shot at by the bad guys. It is one of the most stunningly gripping scenes that this reviewer has ever read. It alone is worth the whole price of the book. Everything else — and there’s a lot — is a sweet bonus.
