SEATTLE (AP) — Hospital officials say a man in his 30s is in critical condition and undergoing surgery after a shuttle van struck a downtown Seattle building.
Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Barbara Clements also said Thursday that two women, 28 and 39, and a 52-year-old man were in satisfactory condition.
The shuttle that carries passengers throughout the city jumped a sidewalk and struck a Gap store.
Authorities say the vehicle did not accelerate and there was “nothing obvious to make this an intentional act or deliberate.”
The van driver sustained minor injuries.
Clements says another patient initially reported as connected to the crash was, in fact, not involved.
