Man, 43, wounded in North Portland shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland police say a 43-year-old man was injured in a shooting.

Sgt. Chris Burley says officers from the North Precinct responded Tuesday at 2:20 a.m., and found the man with a serious injury that’s not believed to be life-threatening. The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Officers discovered evidence of gunfire during a search of the neighborhood, but no suspect.

Detectives are investigating.
