SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A western Washington state woman who drove drunk the wrong way on Interstate 90 in Spokane and caused a five-car crash that killed a man and injured others has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
KREM-TV reports that Carrah Goble received the sentence Friday in Spokane Superior Court.
Goble in August pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide, vehicular assault and two counts of felony hit and run stemming from the October 2015 crash.
Thirty-nine-year-old Ronald L. Morrison was ejected from his vehicle and sustained head injuries. He later died at a hospital.
Goble fled the scene but was found at a convenience store.
