The Dalles Downtown Trick Or Treat will take place Tuesday, October 31st from 3 pm to 5 pm with Monsters in The Park After Dark, put on by Wasco County Parks and Recreation, immediately following at The Dalles City Park located at 5th and Union from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Be on the lookout for orange, pumpkin flyers in windows which indicate Downtown Trick or Treat participating businesses.
Parents are encouraged to park and drop off Downtown Trick or Treat participants in the DHS parking lot across from The City Park and walk in order to keep traffic downtown to a minimum. The Dalles Lions Club have graciously volunteered to enhance the safety of the event with their presence in the downtown corridor. Please be respectful to their directions at intersections and all other times as they are helping to keep you and your family safe. We ask that drivers remain attentive and aware of their surroundings.
To enhance the safety of participants and families, the following intersections, between 2nd St. and 3rd St., will be closed to traffic; Court, Federal, Jefferson, and Madison for the two hour duration of the event. Drivers will be able to utilize all other side streets in the downtown that have traffic lights.

Halloween at Flagstone 5:30 to 6:30 – Bring the kids to trick or treat with the residents and staff in the Lobby and Dining Room at Flagstone! We will be wearing our friendly costumes for an “Un-Scary,” Fun and Safe Halloween!
Goldendale’s Annual Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. is a safe family friendly event, Goldendale’s Annual Trunk or Treat on Main St, (100 blocks of East Main and the 100 and 200 blocks of West Main). Sole to Soul Health Center will be hosting a Halloween scavenger hunt during Trunk or Treat as part of the Halloween festivities on Main Street at 5:30 p.m. Competitors will race for prizes for best costume, points scored, and most creative team name. After making the rounds on Main Street, families can head over to Goldendale High School (GHS) for its Trick or Treat Open House. Kids will walk the hallways trick or treating classroom to classroom. Each classroom door will be decorated with spooky Halloween displays, and high school students in costumes will hand out candy. The event goes from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is a food drive for the Goldendale Food Bank. GHS student council and the Family Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) groups are asking people to bring canned goods for admission to help support the cause. All food collected will support the Goldendale Food Bank.
