Adult, 2 juveniles charged in Seattle stabbing death

SEATTLE (AP) — Two juveniles and an 18-year-old man have all been charged in adult court with first-degree murder following the stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy.

The Seattle Times reports that Jonatan Islas-Martinez and the two juveniles were charged Friday.

Authorities say Derek “Peachy” Juarez-Lopez was lured to a West Seattle park to be robbed of marijuana.

Police say he was stabbed by a 16-year-old juvenile when he refused to hand over the marijuana. Police say a 17-year-old girl helped lure Juarez-Lopez to the park.

Senior Deputy Prosecutor Brian McDonald says the three suspects left Juarez-Lopez to bleed to death and have shown no remorse.
