Man arrested in fatal West Seattle shooting

SEATTLE (AP) — Police have arrested a man suspected of shooting a West Seattle man who was allegedly lured to his death by his ex-girlfriend.

The U.S. Marshals Service says authorities arrested 19-year-old Abel Linares-Montejo in the Seattle suburb of Auburn Wednesday.

U.S. Marshals say the man was found at a mobile home park and arrested without incident.

Authorities say he’ll be booked into King County Jail in connection with the death of 25-year-old Edixon Velasquez.

Velasquez’s ex-girlfriend, Anna Kasparova, has been charged with murder for her alleged role in the Sept. 19 killing.

Charging documents say Kasparova called Velasquez to say she wanted to meet at his house. Charges say his roommates told investigators that when Kasparova arrived she texted Velasquez and asked him to come outside.

Documents say he was only gone a few minutes before his roommates heard a gunshot.
