It was a celebration day yesterday for Griffith Motors, as the firm formally toasted and launched its new location on West Sixth Street. The four-acre site features separate buildings for the Toyota and Honda lines featured at the dealership.
Toyota representative Mark Angeloccus presented owner Dave Griffith with a replica of a samurai sword and a racing jacket signed by Dale Ernhardt Jr.
Griffith noted that the project originally grew out of a conversation he had with The Dalles Planning Director Dan Durow and city manager Nolan Young back in 2007. We asked him how it felt to have the whole thing completed.
