Kyle McCulloch, the Dufur Green Beret who is walking from his home to the Oregon Coast to raise funds for the Gorge Heroes Club to send care packages to local members of the service deployed overseas in Iraq and made it to Seaside, arriving last night at 6 p.m. to a warm welcome organized by the Seaside Elks Lodge. His mom reported the first thing he did was take a shower. So far he’s raised more than $3,000, and if all the pledges come in, that number could reach $3,500
