We talked with Oregon District 59 Rep. John Huffman Thursday, Feb. 28 for an update on what’s happening at the legislature in Salem. Much of the report centered on the many bills that would reform the Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) , but Huffman also touched on HB 3397, on which he is a cosponsor, that would allow schools to keep using their Native American mascots under certain conditions
