In local high school basketball action last night the Sherman Huskies cranked their record up to 19 and 3 with a 69 to 26 win over Central Christian.
The Goldendale Timberwolves took care of business last night, easily defeating the La Salle Lightning, 76-50, in their final regular season game here at home. With that victory, The Wolves secure a fourth seed to the District tournament later this week.
However, the Lady Wolves ended up losing a tough game in overtime, to third ranked La Salle 60-56, but are still seeded third heading into district play.
With the first round district match ups now in place, Dick Patzer, the voice of the wolves, explains what’s ahead for both teams.
